VowSuite Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 25, 2026
VowSuite ("VowSuite," "we," "us," or "our") is based in Florida, USA. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have, when you use the VowSuite website planning platform, including our marketplace of wedding vendors (the "Service").
By using VowSuite, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
1. Who This Policy Covers
VowSuite is used by several types of people, and what we collect depends on how you interact with the Service:
- Couples who create an account to plan their wedding (guest list, budget, website, checklist, and related tools).
- Wedding planners who connect to a couple's wedding workspace, either by invitation or by requesting to connect.
- Vendors who create a business listing in our marketplace, whether through paid signup or as an unclaimed listing added by someone else.
- Guests who RSVP through a couple's public wedding website — guests do not create an account.
2. Information We Collect
Account information
When a couple, planner, or vendor creates an account, we collect the name, email address, and password (stored securely by our authentication provider) used to sign up.
Wedding planning data
For couples, this includes information entered into the platform: partner names, wedding date, venue details, guest lists (names, contact information, meal preferences, RSVP status, notes), budget and expense entries, checklist items, wedding website content, photos uploaded to the site, and vendor bookings made through VowSuite.
Guest RSVP data
When a guest looks themselves up on a couple's public wedding website to RSVP, we collect their name (to match them to the guest list), their RSVP response, meal preference, and any notes they choose to add. Guests are not required to create an account or provide any other personal information to RSVP.
Vendor listing data
For vendors, we collect business name, category, contact information, service descriptions, pricing, photos, and — for vendors on a paid plan — subscription and payment status. For vendors listed without a paid membership ("unclaimed listings"), we collect only the basic business and contact information provided by whoever added the listing.
Payment information
Payments for the Wedding Pass and vendor subscriptions are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. VowSuite does not store your full credit card number; Stripe handles and stores payment card details in accordance with its own privacy policy and security standards.
Automatically collected information
We use cookies and similar technologies necessary to operate the Service, such as keeping you signed in and completing checkout through Stripe. See our Cookie Policy for details. We do not currently use analytics or advertising tracking cookies.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate the wedding planning tools, guest list, RSVP, budget, website builder, checklist, and vendor marketplace.
- Let couples, planners, and invited collaborators share and edit the same wedding workspace.
- Process payments for the Wedding Pass and vendor subscriptions through Stripe.
- Display vendor listings and reviews to couples browsing the marketplace.
- Send service-related communications, such as invite notifications, RSVP confirmations, and account-related messages.
- Maintain the security and integrity of the Service, and prevent fraud or misuse.
- Respond to support requests sent to hello@myvowsuite.com.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. How Information Is Shared
Within a wedding workspace: Guest list data, budget details, and other wedding planning information entered by a couple is visible to anyone who is a member of that wedding — including an invited partner-side collaborator (parent role) or a connected wedding planner.
With vendors: If you book a vendor through the marketplace, relevant booking details (event date, package, contact information) are shared with that vendor so they can fulfill the booking. If a couple uploads contracts or documents to a vendor booking, they are visible to that vendor.
Vendor listings are public: Vendor business information, including unclaimed listings added by a couple, planner, or admin, is visible to any visitor browsing the marketplace, since the purpose of a listing is to be discoverable.
Reviews: Reviews submitted by couples about a vendor are visible publicly on that vendor's listing.
Service providers: We share information with third parties who help us operate the Service, currently:
- Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage)
- Stripe (payment processing for the Wedding Pass and vendor subscriptions)
These providers are only permitted to use your information as needed to provide their services to us.
Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of VowSuite, our users, or others.
5. Data Retention
We retain account and wedding planning data for as long as an account remains active. If a wedding's date is more than 12 months in the past, planning data may move into a read-only archived state, but is not deleted — wedding website content, photos, and RSVP records remain accessible. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting hello@myvowsuite.com.
6. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To make a request, contact us at hello@myvowsuite.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Guests who RSVP without an account can contact the couple directly, or reach out to hello@myvowsuite.com, to request that their RSVP information be corrected or removed.
7. Children's Privacy
VowSuite is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
